What is it about nature that makes kids —and adults— want to collect, examine and even display? I don’t know. But I do believe there are few things more rewarding than letting children immerse themselves in all kinds of nature’s wonders.

We spent the weekend exploring Detroit and The Henry Ford. The Rogue Factory tour was my favorite; our children loved the People Mover! Detroit with children was easy and fun, and we could have stayed a lot longer!

Jump, jump, jump! Ocean Hole is a “must-do” activity for children in Eleuthera, Bahamas.

A boat ride through Savannah Sound in the out island of Eleuthera, Bahamas offered a plethora of wildlife viewing: starfish, jellyfish, lionfish, flashing squid, many fish among the reef… and a tiger shark! This was an amazing activity for children and adults!

Catching wild turtles on film was one of the highlights of our trip to Eleuthera, Bahamas.

The children had a BLAST at The Works and keep asking to go back! This has to be one of the best arcades in Pennsylvania!
