Jack’s thoughts (age 8):

The road was super rocky. We were all screaming because the
car was going from side to side because there were big holes in the road.

It was raining, but we swam around for a little bit. The
water was warm.

Then we ordered lunch and we swam around a little more. And
then we ate. The pizza was good. It was really cool to eat there because the
stools were on the bottom of the pool! We ate in the pool, but not in the pool-
it was a shelf, but your stool was in the water! If somebody went over to pass
the French fies they would get all wet and soggy.

Then we swam again. Tess or Maria found a dead frog over by
the edge of the pool. Then I practiced dance moves with Kevin and Tommy. Then I went in the hot tub. It was a lot of fun!

My thoughts:

Despite the downpour, we had a great time. The adults were able to sit under a protected canopy and watch the children swim in the rain. A rainy day in Eleuthera still beats any day at home! Throw in a cold kalik and a meal out - no prep, cooking or clean up - perfect day!
