This weekend Pop-Pop and KK came to visit. We took them to check out Aurora, which is a Christmas and Winter themed Festival at the CNE in Toronto. It’s a mostly outdoor event, so we bundled up and set out!

The magic started by crossing the foot bridge onto West Island. The bridge was strung with thousands of moving lights - the children loved it!

We walked through shining, shimmery worlds, met magical beings like the Snow Queen and a Yeti, listened to Santa’s story time. We met Santa randomly on the path and each child told him what they’d like for Christmas. Pop-Pop and KK had their fist poutine (they liked it), the children went on a few rides, and of course we ended the night with our favorite Canadian treat, Beaver Tails.
